This is a great collection of mid 20th century oversized military photographs (52). The wire photos range in size from 8”x10” to 12”x15” and include many of General Douglas MacArthur. There are also several images of General Jonathan Wainwright who is most famous for capturing the story about his detention in a Japanese prison in a book. The images are in good to excellent quality with varying degrees of slight wrinkling and normal age discoloration. A terrific lot for those interested in military Americana.
