On November 1, 1907 at the Follies Bergere in Paris, France the great African-American heavyweight Sam McVea fought the French Champion Marc Gaucher. McVea stopped Gaucher in four rounds in a one sided affair. Offered here is a very rare on site poster to this event. This paper poster measures 32 x 46 and has been professionally linen backed. The poster has no creases, rips or tears and the only flaw appears to be some slight fading from age. Posters of this great fighter are few and for this event in Paris this poster is likely unique.
