This is a very rare (and possibly unique) appearance poster of World Heavyweight Champion Jack Johnson at Oxford, England on September 7, 1914. Johnson was appearing on a vaudeville style show and was appearing as champion. Johnson had fled the United States due to violations of the Mann Act and was residing in England at the time. The poster is paper and has been professionally linen backed. It has some light fading and the original folds are slightly evident. The poster measures 11 x 17''.
