This is a circa 1970’s pair of training trunks worn by Muhammad Ali for several of his bouts. The trunks include a label for Chris and Angelo Dundee. Chris Dundee, the brother of Angelo was an early promoter of Cassius Clay and Angelo Dundee was the legendary, professional trainer of Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali. These beautiful trunks are red satin with white trim and show modest wear. The trunks were part of the collection of long time Ali corner man and assistant trainer Wali Muhammad. The trunks come with Letters Of Authenticity from Wali Muhammad and Craig Hamilton of JO Sports, Inc.
