On July 5, 1909 at Coffroth’s Arena in San Francisco World Middleweight Champion Stanley Ketchel defended his title against the man he had won it from the year before, Billy Papke. Ketchel won a unanimous 20 round decision to retain his crown. Presented here is an extremely rare official full ticket to this event. The ticket names both fighters and includes section, row and seat number. The stub is firmly attached. No creases, rips or tears. Light spotting on the front and some paper loss on the reverse where the ticket was likely glued into an album. Ketchel full tickets are extremely rare and only a few have ever made it to public sale.
