Lot 600: 1975-76 Guy Charron Kansas City Scouts Game Worn Jersey
ITEM DESCRIPTION

||||||||||||
UPDATE: The tagging reads size 46, however the jersey is actually size 48 or 49.
Many critics believed Guy Charron was simply not big enough to play
hockey in the NHL, which could explain why he was never drafted. But,
like many other small forwards, Charron was determined to make it. He
did. Playing 13 seasons in the NHL with four different teams: the
Canadiens, Red Wings, Scouts, and Capitals. During his third stop,
Charron wore this home, white jersey manufactured by Wilson with
their size 46 tag in the collar. Beautiful chain-stitched crest on a
circular twill backdrop. Light sweat stains on the crest and lower
front in the white body portion. Light staining on the left and right
front bottom hem stripe. “75 76” year tag sewn inside the back hem.
Light sweat staining at the cuffs on both sleeves. Charron’s name
sewn directly to the back above the numbers in blue. Puckering to the
back numbers with the stitching of the Gunzo’s tag remaining below
the Wilson tag in the collar.
