A terrific collection of oversized photographs of basketball greats while in college spanning the late 1940’s through the mid 1960's. The images are primarily 11x14”, with some slightly larger, in game action and feature a variety of players from many different teams on their way to stardom. Players include Bill Russell with USF and a couple Celtics, KC Jones, Lew Alcindor, and more. About 50% picture either Bill Russell or KC Jones. The quality of the photos range from very good to excellent with some gripping action shots and very minor creasing concurrent with the age of the photos. Many also have the original news clippings adhered to the verso.
