This rich and varied collection of sports stars from the 1930's up until the 1970's range in size from 10x12" to 12x15", though the vast majority of photographs are 11x14" . The images capture athletes such as track and field superstar Bob Seagren to legendary Jockeys Willie Shoemaker and Johhny Longdon. Other notable athletes in the collection are Roger Penske, Helen Mills, Bobby Hayes, Rafer Johnson, and R.C. Owens to name just a few. The photos are primarily wire photos and range in quality from good to excellent with some minor creasing and color fade due to normal aging.
