This collection of 11"x14" photographs encompasses the careers of 2 of Baseballs' greatest players. Both Hall of famers are captured on field during the height of their playing careers as well as off the field in candid and publicity shots. There is a large number of portrait quality photographs, by San Francisco Examiner photographer Paul Glines, of Willie McCovey, taken in the 1980's just prior to his induction into the hall of fame. The quality of the photographs varies from very good to mint and many of the early wire photos also include the original news clippings adhered to the back.
