Laos was caught up in the turmoil of the Vietnam War era, a pawn in the struggle to control Southeast Asia. Here are (75) wire and laser wire photos taken of Laos in the 60's and 70's. Images include: Life in the capital of Vientiane showing the American compound & open sale of marijuana and opiates in the markets; people and children in the countryside; life in caves including a medical school and textile plant; Pathet Lao soldiers; Aerial images of American bombing raids and more. Sized from 6.5 x 8" to 8.5 x 11", the photos range in condition from VG to MT.
