One lot of two pieces related to Puerto Rican baseball legend Hiram Bithorn. Bithorn died under mysterious circumstances when he was shot to death by a policeman in 1951. Lot includes an exceedingly rare one page handwritten letter to his friend dated Nov 2, 1947 and his 1945/46 signed contract to play for the San Juan team in the Puerto Rican Winter League. Both feature bold black ink signatures. Contract and letter are in Excellent condition, signatures are Mint.
