A Cal Ripken retirement game used base from 9/9/01, his last Seattle game before retiring from his historically lengthy career in baseball. Also of note, this was the last Oriole game played prior to the September 11th World Trade Center attacks. The base is embossed with the number "8", the Hall of Famers jersey number. Bases with the "#8" on top were only used at third base that season. MLB logo on one side, Orioles on the other. MLB hologram affixed with individual authentication number.
