Beautiful A.J. Reach Babe Ruth Home Run Special baseball. The A.J. Reach Company patented the cork-centered baseball on August 31, 1909. This red and blue stitched ball, from the 1920's, is white in color with all lettering intact except for a couple of small nicks in the word "Special". There is also a 1" surface scuff away from the lettering. Otherwise, ball is clean and comes with the original red box, complete with the Babe's image emblazoned on one of the panels. The box has some rips and dents and is held together in one spot by tape. The ball has a clean, Babe Ruth facsimile signature in blue. Ball EX-MT, box G/VG.
