A super-rare all original Berra jersey from 1958! This jersey is the brother to the 1960 Maris and Mantle sold by Lelands over 15 years ago. All three jerseys were put on display at a business back in the 1970's and after were kept by the family that owned that business. Berra had a typically great season that year playing in 122 games as well as the All-Star game. He hit 22 Home Runs and drove in 90 runs. He ranked 18th in MVP voting. The name "Berra" is sewn into the collar on felt and a well worn Spalding tag and 44 size tag can be found on the tail. The year/number "58" is sewn below the tagging. Yogi's number "8" is on back and "NY" is on front, both in blue felt. Berra is one of the toughest Yankee jerseys to find in all original condition.
