This Spalding Official Piedmont League baseball is inscribed on a panel,
“Best Wishes from Satchell Paige” and dated “1950” in blue ink.
The ball is just off-white in color and the signature and inscription
are a solid “8/9” on scale of “1-10.” EX-MT+. An exceptional baseball artifact and remembrance of the first black pitcher in the majors.
