The front of this fine baseball jersey, once worn by a recently deceased Yankee favorite, is all original. However, the # 9 on the back is restored. It is signed in the collar and on the front, with the added "9" in mint blue sharpie. The words "Bauer 1958" are sewn in the collar. A Wilson 42 size tag is in tail with "59" written in faded marker (meaning the jersey was also used in 1959). This relic originates from the Barry Halper Collection.
