This fine, game used baseball jersey has a Rawlings Hall of Fame tag and “Dixie Walker” sewn in chain-stitched red thread on the tail. Another name is written in marker under the chain stitch but it is faded and unreadable. Jersey has a front zip and is size 42. Flannel is blue heather in color. Washing instructions and “set one 1955” tags sewn on inside. Front tail of jersey has a number change from 30 to 78. No player wore number 78 for the Cardinals during the regular season, so it is possible it was used during spring training. This is a beautiful jersey with nice game use throughout.
