Eastern Airlines promotional Baseball signed on the Sweet Spot by Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente just a few months before his death and the year that he hit the 3000 career hit milestone. Noted on the south panel in unidentified handwriting is “Given as a Gift from Puerto Rico August 22, 1972 at Williamsport PA.” This ball was given to a member of the Canadian Little League team at the 1972 Little League World Series in Pennsylvania. Ball is just off-white in color; signature is “8” on a scale of “1-10.” Very bold blue ballpoint signature! Includes LOA.
