On site fight poster for Joe Louis vs. Bob Garner bout taking place October 31, 1948 in New Orleans. Poster bills the event as “the greatest boxing show ever staged in New Orleans”. Fight promoter was Abe Katz. It is 28” x 22” on cardboard. Interestingly, Joe Louis announced his retirement from boxing shortly after this event in March of 1949.
