This 1964 site poster, measuring 22 x 28 ¾”, rewinds back to when Carter’s name could be found enthusiastically upon a cardboard wonder such as this one, announcing a June 24th “Battle of Middleweight Bombers” Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter and ‘Joltin’ Johnny Smith” though it was actually Clarence James who fought Carter that night, and who was subsequently defeated by The Hurricane in first round TKO. Yellowed edges have little to no damage on this EX piece.
