Extensive coverage of rowing, including ivy league rivals Harvard and Yale, cricket, swimming, horse racing, cock fighting, boxing and much more. This hard bound edition contains a very early drawing of a baseball field that charts the positions and the rules of the game. There is also a great section that illustrates swimming fundamentals. The boards show extensive wear and the spine is almost completely disintegrated. The inner pages, however, look great with only edge wear.
