Fantastic collection of (10) early news service photos that capture Pacific Coast League baseball action. Images date from the 1910's to September 1954. Sizes range from 5x8" to 9.5 x 12". The overall condition of the photos is very good, some better some worse, with many having been trimmed and marked with editor enhancements for newspaper use. All but one have original captions and/or the original news clippings affixed to verso. As the collection comes from the San Francisco Examiner archives, the photos are of the Seals, including an amazing image of a circa 1910 Seals team sitting in their dugout.
