An amazing archive of sixty-eight folders, each will several game action photographs, taken by an SFX staff photographer and used in the newspaper. The really interesting thing about these photographs is that the players, and often path of the ball, were noted directly onto the photo by the photo editor making each a piece of original artwork. Sizes vary from about 4 x 5 to 5 x 7'' (some smaller, some larger). All are dated 1953 or 1954 and the game date and opponent are identified on the envelope. Often the original newspaper clipping is included. Each photo is one of a kind!
