Lot 451: Chief Bender Photo

Charles “Chief” Bender was the pitching mainstay of the great, Connie
Mack led, teams of the early 20th century. According to the pencil
notations on the reverse of this fantastic image of the Chief, he was
quite a figure in Philadelphia trapshooting circles. The photo is 5
x 7 and is EX+ in condition, clarity and contrast.
