This is a bat from one of those great players, legendary Reds catcher Johnny Bench. Hillerich and Bradsby model B278. Signed on the barrel next to the signature stamp in blue sharpie is “Johnny Bench HOF 89” There’s great use with ball stitch marks on the barrel as well as spike marks. The bat is uncracked but a quarter of the knob rim has chipped off. “5” in vintage black marker is on the knob. A super bat from one of the best catchers ever.
