A marvelous post-fight photographic poster for the Heavyweight Championship fight between Jack Johnson and Jess Willard on April 5, 1915 in Cuba. This poster, issued directly after the event, features the fighters, the arena, promoter Jack Curley, dignitaries involved in the fight and action scenes from the fight. This photographic montage is mounted on cardboard and measures 19" x 23" and is in fine condition. The images are crisp with some minor stains on the mount. No creasing. A great example of a scarce poster from this important fight. A wonderful companion piece to the Jack Johnson "Confession" letter also offered in this sale.
