Reserve: $3,500.00

Interesting and valuable pieces from the home of one of the greatest players of all time, Honus Wagner. From the Flying Dutchman’s house at 605 Beechwood Ave., Carnegie, PA, these eight gorgeous stained glass windows were recently removed from Wagner’s former estate in favor of more energy-efficient windows. At the time of their purchase, they cost the famed Pirate only $114.20, as is specified by the receipt which is included with this lot. Ordered from the Westwood Art Glass Company of Crafton, PA, the windows depict several types of vines, fruits, and leaves being draped around the window’s outer peripheral, and are tinted in shades of green, brown, yellow and purple. The frames show expected wear from being removed with a few minor, repairable cracks and are in overall great condition. Enclosed receipt reads “Mr. H. Wagner’s Residence” at the top.
