Mike Tyson will always be remembered for his great career as Heavyweight Champion, but Tyson also enjoyed a fabulous career as an amateur fighter. Under the instruction of legendary trainer Cus D'Amato Tyson became one of the forces in amateur heavyweight fighting stopping most of his opponents in the very first round. Tyson never wore a robe as a professional, but he did as an amateur and we offer that robe here. The waist length robe is a blue/purple satin with gold trim. It has the Everlast label on the front. On the reverse is stitched, "Mike Tyson Catskill Boxing Club." The robe shows considerable wear. This robe came from the collection of former Tyson trainer Kevin Rooney.
