The 1973 New York Yankees were led by hard nosed catcher, #15 Thurman Munson. In '73 Munson had an outstanding season, with career highs in homers, doubles and slugging pct. The team also featured future Yankees World Champion team members Craig Nettles and Sparky Lyle. This NRMT Official American League (AL President Joseph Cronin) baseball has Munson's signature at the top of a panel in 9/10 blue ink, amazing clarity! The ball also contains the 9/10 signatures of manager Ralph Houk, Fred Stanley, Ron Bloomberg, Mel Stottlemyre, Bobby Murcer, Doc Medich, and the rest of that Yankees team.
