For much of the years 1952-53, Ted Williams spent his time in United States Marine Corps as a pilot in the Korean War, as is referred to here in this personal letter to Mrs. Alice Hebert. Written and sent from Korea, this correspondence is all in his hand, signed “Ted,” and “Capt Ted Williams.” Letter is EX, with typical mailing folds, and also comes with original mailing envelope (postmarked Feb. 9, 1953) that is also signed "Capt. T. S. Williams" and is all filled out in his hand. Writing and signatures are 8/10 in blue pen. Comes with a 4x5 photo that Ted also sent from Korea.
