On his powerful shoulders Mantle carried baseball to new heights. This is a home jersey that sat on those same shoulders during the 1960 season. There is nice game use on this beautiful off-white with blue pinstripe jersey. “Mantle” is stitched in a felt tag in the collar. On the front tail is a Spalding tag in with 44 size tab with “60” stitched in dark blue below it. On the interior of the tail are washing instructions and tag that reads “Set 1 1960.” The number 7 on the back is restored. Many a baseball was punished by the man who wore this one.
