Terrific 1922 broadside announcing appearance of 1920’s dominant pitching legend Waite Hoyt at the Palace Theatre, “Direct from the Polo Grounds, the Star of the World Series.” Fresh off his New York Yankees’ 1921 World Series loss to the NY Giants, and its grueling best of nine experiment (the last year of its kind), Waite would appear “in person” with Tommy Gordon, and the Royal Marimba Band.
