From the annals of the Yankee dynasty, a picture of great nostalgia and history. Four of the New York Yankees most fondly remembered and talented catchers photographed on the field that they love so much in the mid-1970’s. Bill Dickey, Yogi Berra, Elston Howard and Thurman Munson are all pictured and have all autographed (9/10) this 10 by 8 inch luster. Though Yogi Berra still lives, the remaining three have sadly left us, most notably Thurman Munson, who met his end in a tragic plane accident in his hometown of Canton, Ohio while practicing take-off and landing procedures. All four players last names are features on the back of the photo in blue ink and the autographs are signed in blue felt tip save Bill Dickey's which is in black felt tip. The photograph is in NRMT condition with a small, largely unnoticeable tear near Bill Dickey's leg that has been repaired with black tape. An absolute must-have for any Yankee enthusiast. LOA.
