32" x 16" x 13" wooden travel trunk with brass trim and accoutrements that belonged to Brooklyn Dodgers pitcher Don Newcombe in the early 1950's. Light green, on the top is painted "Dodgers" and on the front "Donald Newcombe, Dodgers, Elizabeth, New Jersey," both in white. Leather carrying straps on the front and right side, with sticker remnants on the front. A very well worn piece of equipment, rust and chipping throughout, this trunk has certainly seen its share of commutation, VG condition overall. Ex-Halper.
