This collection has some serious weight to it. A diverse collection of prints covering the world of art from the 1920's through the 1970's. Photos cover Eastern and Western art, sculpture, painting, drawing, classical and modern. Many are prints sent to news organization by galleries and have the newspaper clippings on the back. Included in the collection are photos of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec's works and a number of WPA funded works, fantastic Japanese woodcuttings, and paintings by Tintoretto. Included with the photographs is a 1923 Tolentino Collection catalog of rare art works. This is a gargantuan stockpile of photographs that would make a tremendous addition to any collection.
