UPDATE: The signed baseball was not obtained in Puerto Rico, rather it was presented to the gentleman in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, during the Little League World Series of 1972, as his Canadian team played the Puerto Rican national team.
This is one of the nicest singles we have ever handled. It comes from a gentleman who played little league in Canada and went to Puerto Rico to participate in a tournament. When the teams met they exchanged gifts and the Canadian team was presented with signed baseballs from Clemente. Clemente died shortly after in an unfortunate plane crash but our consignor held on to the ball for years… now his incredible treasure is available at Lelands.com. Included with the ball is a CD with photos of the consignor holding the ball with a Puerto Rican player and other photos from that series. This ball is graded PSA 8. It really doesn’t get much better than this. 2 LOA's
