Lot 609: 1991-92 Adam Oates Game Worn Boston Bruins Jersey
Fresh from his masterful 1990-91 season, where he was of pivotal assistance to friend Brett Hull, Adam Oates said goodbye to his three years with the St. Louis Blues when he was traded mid 91-92 season to the Boston Bruins. He would later peak in Boston, but first would show his worth as an integral part of the Northeast Division title the Bruins clenched at the end of his first season with them. This bear of a Home (white) jersey is signed by the versatile forward on its left breast, in an 8/10 black Sharpie. Garment has “2nd Set 1991-92 Season” stamp on inside of back hem, where Oates has black-sharpied, “My game jersey 91/92,” and initialed, “A.O.” Fight strap cut out. Fine use with stick marks, a rip, burns, and pilling inside. The NHL 75th anniversary patch has been removed. Maska and size 50 flags in collar.
