Written by Edward Bancroft Henderson, this book covers African-American players during the early days of popular sporting, the history of their participation and is currently out-of-print. Originally published in 1939 by Associated Publishers, this is the only known copy of this book to also come with a dust jacket. Jacket itself is lightly tattered at the edges but book is in overall EX condition. Measures 6x8" and is 371 pages long with appendix and index.
