We are proud to offer what is far and away the finest Bobby Orr jersey in existence. Classic Wilson tag in neck with fraying to tag on the right side due to heavy use and multiple washings. Beautifully preserved spoked Bruins crest on the front along with Orr’s #4 donning the sleeves and proudly displayed on the back. Nice and even pilling on the interior and is without a fight strap which Orr preferred to have absent on his jerseys. Scattered stick marks, board burns and sweat stains line both sleeves. Additional board burns, scuffs and trauma litter the shoulders and hem areas, especially Orr’s right side which leads us to the outstanding team repair work done to this jersey. Outstanding use is found throughout this jersey. One rectangular repair is located below the crest. Two repairs are found along the right side vertical seam near the hem. Two additional repairs are found in the lace-up collar eyelets, one on each of the top eyelet. Four large repairs on the right shoulder in the yellow shoulder yoke. Four repairs in the black cuff area of the right sleeve. Four more repairs in the first yellow stripe on the front of the right sleeve. One repair in the black stripe. One repair in the white stripe. One repair in the black stripe. Two repairs in the yellow stripe below the #4. Three more repairs in the black armpit/shoulder area on the front right sleeve. On the back of the right sleeve we count five more repairs: one in the black cuff area, one on all three stripes above the cuff and one more in the yellow stripe below Orr’s #4 on the right sleeve. To recap, the right sleeve ALONE has 21 repairs! On the back we find two sizable repairs in the black body portion including a large vertical sewing job to the right of the #4. In the hem striping there are two additional repairs, one in each of the yellow stripes. On the left sleeve we find two more team repairs to bring the astounding total of team repairs to 36!!! To top it off, this jersey is photo-matched to Bobby Orr’s 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee hockey card #236. The black stick mark at the bottom of the Bruins crest matches perfectly to the black mark evident in the hockey card photo. This jersey is the pinnacle of hockey jerseys. Ready to be the centerpiece of any Hall of Fame collection, this Bobby Orr jersey is as dominant as the player who wore it!
