1935.Art deco lamp is 11 1/2" tall without the glass globe and 17" with it.A full dimensioned dark finished metal lamp base with very nicely molded detail of Will Rogers and Wiley Post in high relief on world globe topped by replica of Post's Aircraft the X-12-0 that carried them both to their deaths in 1935.The nose of the aircraft is depicted near Alaska where the fatal crash occurred.On the base of the lamp is the number 234.The lamp is in excellent condition, all original, as works perfectly
