Wow! From content to clarity, the images in this lot are simply amazing. From flooded homes to beached ships to destroyed storefronts, these photos capture the destruction that Mother Nature unleashed on Galveston TX in the early 1900s. Several obviously date from the famous flood of 1900, but some appear to be later judging by the early automobiles that can be seen in the background. They are all pre-1920. Most are 5 x 7'', a couple larger. EX-MT.
