Photo of the olympic swimming star and father of longboard surfing as he is arrested in CA. He had been enticing school children to play hookey and go swimming with him, Duke Kahanamoku, was turned over by Chief of Police Bode Wallmanod of Oakland to Captain Sullivan for return via the Hawaii Clipper to Honolulu.
