Lot 200: Braddock ALS from wife Mae

Three page letter, dated July 13, 1929, on folded green stationary, written by Mae Fox, to her heavyweight champ husband, Jim Braddock, asking him for tickets for friends of theirs who cannot afford the high-priced tickets. She signs off, “I’m sending you some of those kisses and I’ll save the next till you come home.” Actual letter (5 ½ x 7”) has one fold and is EX, while its stamped envelope is postmarked July 13, 1929.
