Pitching sensation Vida Blue’s second to last year with his Oakland A’s was spent in this green and yellow jersey and cap. 1976 garment showcases two Blue signatures, one on the front (7.5/10) below its left-breasted, tackle-twilled “A’s”, and another on verso (8/10) below same-styled # 14. “Vida” sewn on upper back, with left shoulder branded with Liberty Bell Bicentennial (“1776-1976”) patch. Front tail holds “1976” tag, “McAuliffe” manufacturer tag with size 42 flag tag, and a dry-cleaning tag. Cap is a well-used beauty, with a grimed bill, two tiny holes in front top, sweaty inner band, and what appear to be some minimal stains near the “New Era” tag on inside back. “35 V. Blue” in black sharpie under bill, with some dried white sweat salt around it. This cap was worn by Blue and another player befor him. Terrific combo!
