Before grasping their only pennant in the 1980’s - a 1981 flag to the World Series they would lose to the Los Angeles Dodgers - outfielder Bobby Murcer put this indigo cap through game-wearing battle circa 1980, busting some thread on its broken brim, and piling the sweat and dirt upon its inner band. This “New Era” cap (tag inside back) has # “2” and Murcer’s signature under the brim in blue sharpie, and a size 7 flag tag, barely holding itself together. Very nice use.
