The St. Louis Cardinals were hot in the mid-1980’s, winning pennants in 1985 and 1987, and this Official World Series (Ueberroth) baseball saw some action in the ’87 series where, despite this ball’s signer - the incomparable Ozzie Smith, the Cards lost to the Minnesota Twins.
