Glorious imagery of this supposed mismatch at the height of their affair. Includes going to London to star in Princess and the Showgirl, they are to divorce, Marilyn herself at press conference regarding here wedding (all smiles), leaving for their honeymoon in convertible, and four images of them snuggling at a news conference at Miller’s home (they got married immediately after). Overall EX. Front captioned from 1956-60. 8x10”.

This is one largest collections ever of historic vintage photos spanning the entire 20th century. The San Francisco Examiner was the first paper acquired by William Randolph Hearst and itself was the subject of the film classic Citizen Kane. The majority of the photographs are fully identified, and back-stamped with dates. Included throughout this auction is a diverse mix of subjects including sports, historical, political, transportation, Hollywood, and all facets of entertainment.
