Unique, specially commissioned artwork of Mickey Mantle signed by Mantle in blue Sharpie. This magnificent oil on canvas painting was created by noted sports artist Wayne Prokopiak and is a reproduction of Mantle's 1952 Topps rookie card. The painting is exact in every detail save one. Instead of depicting a reproduction of Mantle's facsimile signature (as is displayed on the actual card) this painting features the real thing. Mantle has beautifully signed his name in the white box along the base, adding the notation "No. 7" below his name. Mantle's 1952 Topps rookie card is the most significant postwar baseball card in the hobby and represents a holy grail for a legion of Mantle fans and collectors.
