ITEM DESCRIPTION

By acclamation, Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time. Although, a summary of his basketball career and influence on the game inevitably fails to do it justice, as a phenomenal athlete with a unique combination of fundamental soundness, grace, speed, power, artistry, improvisational ability and an unquenchable competitive desire, Jordan single-handedly redefined the NBA superstar. We proudly present his 1989-90 Chicago Bulls red "road" jersey, one of the few pre-Championship Era pieces once belonging to Jordan still available and the finest we have ever offered. Heat set with "Bulls" and his number "23" on front, and "Jordan 23" on the reverse, it is properly tagged "MacGregor-Sand-Knit [size] 44" and "Designed and Tailored Exclusively For The Chicago Bulls" on the tail. Two additional plates are sewn just to the left embroidered with, "89" (year), and "3"LB" in black thread. The jersey's light use has allowed it to remain in magnificent display condition, fittingly as it surely will become the centerpiece of even the most distinguished of collections. Comes with LOA and receipt with original purchase price of $18,000.
