UPDATE: We have recently had these appraised by an expert at the request of a client and the results were excellent. According to the expert these are both gorgeous rugs., The first is exceptionally large measuring 19' 4" x 12' 10" and is from Peshawar, Pakistan. It is a vegetable dye with a plum background and gold border. The design is Zegler. This rug alone would cost $7500 wholesale, not including the cost to get it to the United States. The retail is about $22,000. The condition is excellent and of the highest quality. This rug is one of a kind. It would take 3 people a whole year to make this rug. The second is 11.5' x 8.10" from Jaipur, India. It is a hand woven Oriental rug. It is a "tea wash" or "antique was" with a gold background and beige border. The design is Jaipur with gold flowers. It is 10/10 quality with 100 knots per square inch. The retail is about $7,000. Both are in brand new unused condition. This is a chance to own something truly special at a fraction of its value.
This amazing pair cost Mr. Sheen a total of over $20,000 brand new. They are gorgeous in color and pattern and would be perfect for the palatial home or estate. The first is the large one and is 19' 3" x 12' 10" in a myriad of color. The second is 11' x 8' 10" and equally beautiful and both are in brand new unused condition. A chance to own something truly special at a fraction of its value.
